Job Description:
Assists with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of selected technical aspects of patient care in the Adult and Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit, under the direct supervision of the Charge RN, Assistant Head Nurse, Nurse Manager and/or the Director, to meet the requirements of the Joint Commision and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies as well as meeting the goals and mission of the Behavioral Health Department and the Medical Center. Position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.Education Qualifications:
Duluth Main Campus (only):
- 1 year experience in working with persons with mental health symptoms or related applicable experience OR Degree in social services related field OR Certified Peer Support Specialist in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Completed psychology courses

Chemical use that has a negative impact on the staff member's job performance; Chemical use that affects the credibility of treatment services with clients, referral sources, or other members of the community; and Symptoms of intoxication or withdrawal on the job.
