EVS Tech (Inpatient & Outpatient Cleaning)

Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, medical equipment, and high-touch areas.
• Properly handle and transport soiled and clean linens, including lifting and carrying linen bags up to 50 pounds.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and sanitizing solutions as needed.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies, hospital protocols, and infection prevention guidelines.
• Complete assigned tasks with attention to detail, efficiency, and productivity within designated timeframes.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed supplies to the supervisor promptly.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carts safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and clinical staff to ensure patient comfort and room readiness.
• Maintain a respectful and compassionate attitude toward patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning or environmental services experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs consistently throughout shift.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also function effectively in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Must be able to safely handle cleaning chemicals and supplies.
