The Business Support Analyst I focuses on analytical needs of department leaders and projects supporting the Information Services (IS) department with a core focus on technology contracts. Successfully supports initiatives and projects and coordinates effectively with team members across many departments. Is working to become familiar with IS departmental structure and major cost drivers associated with the department. Effective at owning lower -mid complexity issues and acting as a liaison between Legal, Contract Admin, Supply Chain, Finance, and IS teams. Assists with project management activities related to special IS project initiatives. Supports business functions of a large, complex IT department; Financial analysis, contract analysis, service analysis, reporting, etc. This position requires strong independent decision making and communication skills. Key Activities: • Focuses on contract & contract portfolio management, projects, project support, and IT business unit support • Process improvement, current state documentation, process development, training • Preparing reports, creating process diagrams, researching contracts• Documentation, data gathering/analysis, planning, communication, requirements gathering • Manages contract notification and reporting• Creates and monitors termination and renewal reports• Monitors and updates the contract database• Reviews contracts and manages follow ups• Extracts key information and creates reports• Problem solves contract issues; seeks clarity from subject matter expertsEducation Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
OR Associates degree plus 2 years of related experience
OR five or more years of related experience
