Assists with the technical and non-technical aspects of cardiac monitoring of patients over age 18 who are on telemetry. Troubleshoots the monitoring equipment, is knowledgeable in all of the functions of monitoring equipment, recognizes heart rhythms, communicates changes in heart rhythms, and prepares the patients for monitoring.Assists with the technical and non-technical aspects of cardiac monitoring of patients over age 18 who are on telemetry. This position requires the ability to work the following schedule:
- 24 hours per week
- 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Every third weekend and participation in a holiday rotation
$1500 sign on incentive for eligible candidates with work commitment.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- Completed course work in a medically related field such as nursing assistant, medical assistant, nursing, EMT, paramedic, respiratory care, or rhythm interpretation or experience in a health-related field.
Required Qualifications:
- Must pass basic heart rhythms test (90% is passing) within 30 days of employment.
