Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.Education Qualifications:

Fargo, ND (South University)
Due to the high demand in services in this bustling practice setting, we are seeking to add to our Dermatology Team. Based at our South University campus in Fargo, be the first Advanced Practice Provider to join this team-oriented, fast-paced and collaborative group of 3 Dermatologists and experienced clinical support staff. This position would assist in MOHS Surgery, perform skin excisions, and provide pre & post operative care of patients after initial consultations are performed by the dermatologists.
- 0.8 - 1.0 FTE, full-time status
- Mon-Fri
- 16-20 patients per day with potential to increase based on provider’s comfort level
- No call/no inpatient rounding
The Advanced Practice Provider utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The APP will provide health care to individuals emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention and chronic disease management. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Advanced Practice Provider program from an accredited program/institution.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Current licensure (or ability to obtain) as an Advanced Practice Provider in appropriate state.
- Current certification in CPR
- National certification, in applicable area.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
