PRACTICE SPECIFICS:
This position for the Wound Clinic will offer expanded patient care opportunities in both the Wound Clinic and in the Foot and Ankle Clinic. The Wound Clinic is currently staffed by a mix of Physicians, Plastic Surgeons, and Podiatrists.
Podiatry – Wound Clinic
The position at this time is to provide patient care in the Outpatient Wound Clinic, and to assist the Physicians as they determine.
Hours: Monday - Friday Clinic Hours, No Call, No Weekends
Primary responsibilities: Managing Wound Clinic patients of all ages in an outpatient wound clinic. Manage Foot and Ankle patients of all ages both in a clinical setting and assist with inpatient consultations. Provide patient education, counseling and referrals as clinically warranted.
Practice includes medical evaluation and interpretation of diagnostic tests including laboratory and x-rays. Education or experience in wound and burn care, laceration repair, pediatric populations, x-ray interpretation is desired.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
NP:
Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.
Current certification in CPR.
National certification in applicable area.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
PA:
Current licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state.
Current certification in CPR.
National certification.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
