Brainerd, MN – CASUAL

Essentia Health Brainerd is part of an integrated health system that includes a 165 Bed hospital - St. Joseph’s Medical Center and a 100 + Physician Multi Specialty group, representing 25 medical specialties and providing care at 7 locations.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

  • Current team of 1 MD and 3 APPs
  • 100% endoscopy; no call
  • APP manages inpatient services with MD completing add-on procedures
  • All admissions managed by IM hospitalist service
  • Ability to practice “bread and butter” GI
  • No buy-in, no malpractice, no overhead and no seniority issues

REQUIREMENTS

  • BC/BE Gastroenterology

LOCATION

  • Brainerd, MN – located at the center of Minnesota
  • Home to top bike trails, lakes, hunting, fishing, schools, and restaurants in rural MN
  • Brainerd has a Delta Airport hub with twice-daily flights to MSP
  • Brainerd Lakes Area population: 65,000; Regional service area: 115,000
  • 125 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul

COMPENSATION

  • $2,750 per 8-hour shift
