Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.Education Qualifications:
This position you MUST be able to work the following:
- 24 hours a week, this is a flex schedule to meet the needs of the unit.
- Start Times will varies (6:15am-9:30am)
- On Call 1 day a week and 4th Weekend
- Rotating Holiday On Call
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Hyperbaric experience preferred
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment for ND and MN
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
Hyperbaric Certification exam after 2-year experience in Hyperbaric Medicine
40hr Mandatory International Hyperbaric course scheduled and paid for by the department. The course is built in the orientation calendar.
