Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as an ambulatory care supervisor in our Brainerd Clinic in Brainerd, Minnesota. This RN works 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, in a salaried position. Weekends, holidays, and on-call are generally not required. Relocation assistance is available for qualifying candidates.Education Qualifications:
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.

What You'll Do:
Provides oversight of the daily operations of the assigned department including staffing and developing/implementing workflows and processes as well as provides input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets. Responsible for direct nursing leadership, nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy. This individual may perform RN duties to skillfully assess the patient’s health and respond to interventions, provide treatments, and offer education and counseling that lead to improvement of the patient/family’s self-management skills. Supports continuous quality improvement efforts in order to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service. Key responsibilities include:
Staffing & Development: Oversee staffing needs while developing and implementing efficient workflows and processes to enhance departmental performance.
Policy & Budget Input: Collaborate with leadership to provide valuable insights on policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Nursing Leadership: Take charge of direct nursing leadership, fostering staff development, promoting exceptional patient care, and advocating for patient needs.
Clinical Duties: Utilize your nursing expertise to assess patient health, respond to interventions, provide treatments, and offer education and counseling that empower patients and families in self-management.
Quality Improvement: Champion continuous quality improvement initiatives to elevate the standard of care and service across all areas.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- Current RN license with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing upon hire.
- AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
- 2 year’s nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability.
