Essentia Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to serve at our Virginia Hospital in Virginia, Minnesota. This sterile tech typically works 32 hours weekly, but this is a flex position, and hours can be flexed up to 40 per week without notice based on facility needs. This employee will work rotating day and evening shifts a week at a time starting at 7 am, 8 am, 9 am, 10 am, and 11 am. A 12-hour on-call Saturday shift is required once every 5 weeks. No Sundays or holidays are required.Education Qualifications:

What You'll Do:
Responsible for the reprocessing of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for use in surgery and throughout various nursing units. Plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, sterile instruments and equipment are available to hospital staff for use in patient care.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- Must be certified as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) within 2 years of hire.
