Seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to serve Essentia Health at St. Mary's Regional Health Center in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. This employee works on a casual basis, picking up shifts as needed to support the department. Shifts are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends, holidays, on-call commitments are required.Education Qualifications:

What You'll Do:
Responsible for the reprocessing of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for use in surgery and throughout various nursing units. Plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, sterile instruments and equipment are available to hospital staff for use in patient care.
Wage Ranges
· Tech I (Non-certified): $17.98-$26.97 based on experience.
· Tech II (Certified): $19.08-$28.62 based on experience.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- Tech I (Non-certified): Must be certified as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) within 2 years of hire.
- Tech II (Certified): Must be certified as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
