Provides efficient and effective response to inquiries from worker' compensation insurers, employers and patients regarding Workers’ Compensation issues. Coordinates requests for medical legal letters by maintaining tracking information in database, preparing information for the provider and the department manager, and responding to attorney inquiries as to status of requests. Accurately and efficiently bills insurers and attorneys for services provided. Provides support to program manager and paralegal with tasks that include maintenance of files (hard copies and electronic), mailing documents, and obtaining notarization as directed. Provide support to department by ordering office supplies and tracking expenses. This person will be responsible for daily support of the medical review specialist with healthcare provider report forms. This individual will work as a liaison between the medical review specialist, providers, and insurance companies to ensure documents are completed in alignment with Minnesota and Wisconsin statutes.Education Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- 2 years office experience, working with medical records.
- Qualifying experience includes, but is not limited to, record analysis, experience with worker's compensation documents and filing procedures, and EMR processing.
- Proficiency in EPIC, Excel, Word, and Outlook systems

Onsite Nature:
- This role will be predominantly onsite, especially during the first 90 days for training. After that, this individual may have some remote work flexibility based on performance and output.
- The team is open to a predominantly remote role for the right candidate - individual must have prior experience in Workers Compensation and be located in the state of Minnesota (or Northern Wisconsin).
