Responsible for developing and leading system workforce development efforts and program support. Partners with clinical, physician, business, and operations leaders to identify, develop, and grow new talent pipelines by creating programs that include developing pathways to educate tomorrow’s physicians and advanced practice providers. Partners with business and Talent Acquisition leaders to identify, develop, and grow new talent pipelines by creating program and pathways to educate tomorrow’s healthcare workers. Works with recruiters and key stakeholders to leverage available data and workforce planning tools to identify workforce needs/trends and talent gaps. Partners with leaders, HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition Specialists to build and lead the execution of the Workforce strategy to address talent needs. This position will also collaborate in support of an effective process of recruitment and selection that is driven by the needs of the business, to ensure that appropriate individuals are attracted andEducation Qualifications:
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required with a preference in human resources, business management, or related field.
Required Work Experience:
- 5 years of related HR, Workforce Development, or other relevant experience.
- Experience in program development, community networking, and advocacy at the local or state level preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare with preference given for clinical experience.
- Demonstrated collaborative relationship building with organizations and community partners.
- Familiarity with healthcare occupations, work environments, and hiring practices preferred.
- Ability to create and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers and HR as well as other Workforce Development colleagues.
- Ability to deal, tactfully and effectively with and advocate for a wide ranging group of program participants.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specific to Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint required.

Hybrid Nature:
- The ideal candidate would be local to Duluth, MN or Fargo, ND, however, we are open to candidates based in other locations within our service areas (Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin).
- Regular travel and onsite engagement is required
- Travel is cyclical and typically aligns closely with school recruitment timelines (heavier travel during spring and fall for campus visits)
