Job Description:
The Physician Practice Coordinator position documents patient visits. This individual would act as a medical scribe, gathering information about patient visits, ensuring appointment records are accurate and specific, and work with Physicians to record detailed notes. Prior experience with medical terminology is required and helpful for the success of this role. You might be a good fit if you have: • Prior experience in Healthcare • An interest in Healthcare Operations • Exemplary work ethic and professionalism • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Ability to adapt to individual site needs • Strong computer skills – technological savvy • Fluency in typing • Experience in EPIC (preferred but not required) This position is onsite in Brainerd, MN

Education Qualifications:

Enrolled in or graduate of a medical or healthcare degree program

(Associates, Bachelors)

Other certifications may be considered for the right candidate

Work Experience:

• Medical terminology experience required. 

• If not currently enrolled or a graduate of a degree, requires 1 year of experience as a transcriptionist or medical secretary.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
