Job Description:
Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Seeking Clinical Neurology APP (CNP or PA-C) to join our established Neurology team.

• Our ideal candidate is someone looking for a collaborative General Neurology practice, with potential opportunity to specialize.

• Outpatient clinical practice setting managing follow-up visits for general neurological conditions after initial consultation with supervising neurologists to improve patient access.

• Prior neurology experience preferred but not required; training/shadowing with collaborating providers would be provided prior to opening individual clinic schedule.

• 36-40 hour patient contact work week (4.5-5 days, M-F), with no night or weekend call.

• JCAHO Primary Stroke Certified

• Practice supported by a wide variety of specialty services. Procedures offered include state-of-the-art electroneurodiagnostics, all digital EEG/Video evoked potential equipment, intraoperative monitoring and depth electrode recording capability, a regional sleep disorders center, Invasive Cardiology, Rehab services and comprehensive CT and MRI services

REQUIREMENTS

• NP:  Master's degree in nursing

• PA:  Bachelor’s degree in a health/science-related field

Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.
Current certification in CPR.
National certification in applicable area.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice

PA:

Current licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state.
Current certification in CPR.
National certification.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice

Pay Range
$50.95 - $61.14 / hour

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
