LPN or CCMA - Clinical Assistant (Part Time) - Urgent Care 0.6FTE

Job Description:
Seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant to serve in Urgent Care at Essentia Health Clinic in Detroit Lakes. This is a part time, 24 hours per week position working 7:45 am to 8:00 pm. Every third weekend and two holidays a year are required. This LPN/CCMA assists the providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Education Qualifications:

• Education as required for licensure.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Valid state license to practice practical nursing OR certified as a medical assistant OR completion of a medical assistant program with the ability to become certified within 1 year within 2 attempts.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Pay Range
$19.55 - $29.32 / hour

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
