Certified Prosthetist Orthotist

Job Description:
This is a full-time clinical role that supports both inpatients and outpatients that partners with physicians (vascular, Ortho and PM&R), PTs, OTs and other clinicians. This role has some travel to meet the needs of remote outpatients. Must be a team player with clinical skills and experience in both Orthotics and Prosthetics. Allied health professional who is specifically trained and educated to provide or manage the provision of a custom-designed, fabricated, modified and fitted external orthosis or fitted external limb prosthesis to a patient based on clinical assessment and physicians prescription to restore physiological function encompassing all age groups.

Education Qualifications:

• Education in orthotics and prosthetics must have been acquired from a program accredited by the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) OR the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Must have successfully completed the education experience and examination requirements prescribed by the American Board of Certification. (ABC) or be board eligible. This includes certified orthotist ( C.O.), certified prosthetist (C.P.) or certified orthotist/prosthetics (C.P.O.).
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health 's insurer.

Pay Range
$83803 - $125715 / year

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
