Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Data Management to lead our organization's data management strategy and initiatives. As the VP of Data Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection, integration, governance, and utilization of data across our healthcare organization. Your expertise in data management, analytics, and technology will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making and improving patient care outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive data management strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. Establish and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Lead the design and implementation of data collection, integration, and storage systems to support efficient and accurate data management processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical informatics, and operations, to identify data requirements and ensure data availability for various stakeholders. Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics frameworks and tools to derive actionable insights from large and complex datasets. Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making by promoting a data-driven culture throughout the organization. Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in data management, analytics, and healthcare technology, and provide strategic recommendations for their integration into the organization's data management practices. Manage a team of data management professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to foster their professional growth and ensure the successful execution of data management initiatives. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to leverage their expertise and stay at the forefront of data management practices in the healthcare industry. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to data management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Lead the integration of AI and other innovative technologies into the organization's data management strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with data scientists and technology teams to identify opportunities for leveraging AI and machine learning algorithms to enhance data management processes, such as data cleansing, data integration, and data analysis. Oversee the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies, ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability in algorithmic decision-making processes. Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, machine learning, natural language processing, and other innovative technologies relevant to data management in healthcare. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools that can enhance data management capabilities, such as blockchain for data security and interoperability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement using AI and other innovative technologies. Establish partnerships with external organizations, research institutions, and technology vendors to leverage their expertise and stay at the forefront of AI and innovative technology applications in healthcare data management. Provide leadership and guidance to the data management team in adopting and implementing AI and other innovative technologies, ensuring proper training and support for successful integration. Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of AI and innovative technology initiatives, measuring key performance indicators and making recommendations for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, privacy laws, and ethical guidelines when utilizing AI and innovative technologies in data management processes.

Education Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or information systems

    Required Qualifications:

    • 10 years experience managing and/or directing IT operations, data science, enterprise analytics teams
    • Proven experience in data strategy, governance, and analytics

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field including Business, Computer Science, or relative field
