CPO - Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist - FT Days

Job Description:
Seeking a certified orthotist and prosthetist to serve in Fargo. Schedule is 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. There are no holiday or weekend rotations, but on-call is required. This position is 80% prosthetic and 20% orthotic. There is the autonomy to build a practice and gain market share. The ideal candidate is able to build relationships with our internal and external referral sources in a competitive market. This requires someone who is personable and isn't afraid to go out and talk to providers. Patient-focused care and attention to detail are also highly important. This CPO is an allied health professional who is specifically trained and educated to provide or manage the provision of a custom-designed, fabricated, modified and fitted external orthosis or fitted external limb prosthesis to a patient based on clinical assessment and physicians prescription to restore physiological function encompassing all age groups.

Education Qualifications:

• Education in orthotics and prosthetics must have been acquired from a program accredited by the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE)  OR the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs  (CAAHEP).

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Must have successfully completed the education experience and examination requirements prescribed by the American Board of Certification (ABC) or be board eligible.
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health 's insurer.

Pay Range
$83803 - $125715 / year

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
