NA - Nursing Assistant - Float Team - Part Time

Job Description:
This position will have Nursing Assistant and Transport duties. Responsible for providing direct care to patients and serving the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Duties will vary by patient care unit/department and include but are not limited to: Providing personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, providing comfort care and other assistance, appropriately and safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and completing recordkeeping, recognizing and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process. Works within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and accrediting agencies. Looking for an individual who is highly motivated and can work independently primarily in the transport role.

None.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health preferred. If not certified as a Nursing Assistant,  must be registered as a Nurse Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health within 3 months from date of employment.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.

Pay Range
$15.63 - $23.45 / hour

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
