Job Description:
Provides direct supervision and oversight of daily activities for the Orthopedics and Podiatry ambulatory clinics, including staffing and developing/implementing workflows and processes as well as provides input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets. Responsible for direct nursing leadership, nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy. This individual may intermittently perform RN duties to skillfully assess the patient’s health and respond to interventions, provide treatments, and offer education and counseling that lead to improvement of the patient/family’s self-management skills. Supports continuous quality improvement efforts in order to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service.
Education Qualifications:
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- Current RN license with the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Minnesota Board of Nursing RN license within 3 months of hire.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.
- 2 year’s nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability.
- Must maintain Ambulatory RN competency.
