Job Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as MDS Coordinator at Essentia Living Center, our long-term care facility in Fosston, Minnesota. This RN works day shifts, 36 hours weekly. Some coverage of nursing shifts will be required. A $10K sign on bonus is available for ADN and a $15K bonus is available for BSN, for both new and experienced nurses. Responsible for organizing and providing care to residents through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
Education Qualifications:
- Verifiable completion of an ADN or BSN nursing program required.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month.
- Knowledge of MDS assessments or willingness to complete MDS education.
