Job Description:
Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.

Education Qualifications:

NP:  Master's degree in nursing

PA:  Bachelor’s degree in a health/science-related field

PRACTICE SPECIFICS:

This is a team-based patient centered care in a rural clinic, high clinical quality, community health focus.  The department team is made up of 7 Physicians, 3 APRN/PA's and 15 additional staff: CA's, RN's - additional support departments including: Lab, Radiology, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy.

Effectively manage chronic disease including clinical management, relationship building, patient education, activation and engagement as part of the primary care team.

Utilizing advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.

Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

Desired Skill set/Scope of Practice: Family Medicine Focus, Joint Injections, Sport Medicine, Dermatology, and Tobacco Cessation Counseling.

Estimated Patients seen a day: 16-21 Patients

Licensure/Credentials
1. Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state

2. Current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state

3. Current certification in CPR

4. National certification in applicable area

5. Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice

$50.35 - $60.42 / hour

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
